sketch: troll and his pet

I love drawing fantastic creatures and I usually depict them cute, even if they're supposed to be evil. That's why this ugly troll and his frog pet are so mushy. Sorry, can't help it :-D

drawing: shaman

A dark skin witch trying to concentrate and establish a connection with the spirits. I always draw people with realistic proportions and I thought that maybe a magic character could be a good subject for exaggerating her limbs and body.

drawing: mushrooms

A forest creature that is marsupilami alike and a few poisonous mushrooms. Basically it was the mushrooms what I wanted to depict. I love to draw wrinkled textures.

sketch: alien

An alien, sort of, playing with a PSP. I wanted to draw him killing human sprites but I finally decided against it 'cause I found it might be too violent.

sketch: rusty robot

One of my drawings while travelling by train. I painted it later with Photoshop. I got inspired by the shot movie "El Sr. Trapo": a strange man that is waiting for something. What exactly? He doesn't know yet.

sketch: goblin and some sea creatures

A typical goblin and a pair of strange sea-shell creatures that came to my mind after watching an art book from Lord of the Rings. I see the connection between the goblin and LOTR but those things...well I don't know where they came from.

New start

I'm starting a new blog about my drawings, again. Thanks to my first blog I met a Canadian writer with whom I've been working together for 3 years. Now she has her own publishing company and I still illustrate some of her books. How nice is that?

I'll post sketches and paintings I did a few years ago, some of my book illustrations, school projects... Hope they're to your liking.
